The blade on this knife is a drop-point blade made using stainless steel. The blade sports a fingernail groove cut into it that helps you when you open it as it provides a point of grip.
The handle is ultra lightweight Black colored Zytel with a cut out in the upper section revealing the mechanism for the lockback. Squeeze to unlock the blade and it can be closed when you no longer need it.
The good thing about this knife is it's portability. Because it's made with a Zytel handle and it's such a compact unit, it is really nice and light. Weighing around an oz it's also only 3 1/8 inches in length when the blade is in the closed position.
A lanyard hole in the rear of the handle means that you can secure it or lash it wherever you want. Simply feed your own lanyard cord through the handle and you can lash it around your neck or tie it to your gear bag when not in use.
