Case CA6239 Item Description:A beautiful looking knife. This is the Case humpback Whittler knife, model number CA6239. This knife won't look out of place in an executive's pocket because it is modern and crisp and extremely tough. Pattern number 103046WH SS.
The humpback Whittler has a G10 handle that is a tough mix of glass fiber and epoxy resin which is high compressed until the end result is a sleek and tough material that is impervious to most chemicals and will last almost indefinitely. It has a Case inlay shield and bolsters which are all made of polished Nickel Silver.
The three blades are all made using Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel. This is a particularly tough steel that holds a razor sharp edge for long periods of time. The finish is classed as an “as ground” finish which means it is not polished. They have nail nicks that help when opening the blade out.
The knife measures 3 5/8 inches when the blades are closed, and the weight is 0.20 lbs. The Case Black G10 humpback Whittler represents great value for money, and a knife that comes with a lifetime manufacturers warranty.
