The Hawkbill pruner knife features a curved hawk shaped blade made using Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel that has a razor sharp edge and fends off rust and corrosion with ease. The blade has an “as ground” finish to it which means it comes in an unpolished state. A handy nail nick aids when opening and closing the blade.
The handle is Black G10, a smooth composite made from compressed glass fiber and epoxy resin. Polished Nickel Silver bolsters and inlay shield complement the outer appearance of this Case 6241 Hawk Bill pruner. Measuring 4 inches when closed it also weighs 3.5oz and makes for a very fine pocket knife.
