The handle is Navy Blue in color and is made using jigged bone which is then given this Blue color you see. Case take the bone from Brazilian Zebu cattle (normally from the shin section because it is denser and stronger and better suited to knife handles) and cut it into slabs which sit at the Case production facility before being used. The bone is machine jigged, colored and then the Red colored Case oval inlay shield is set into it to authenticate it's origin.

The knife measures a mighty 5 ½ inches overall (when the blade is closed) and sports the supremely sharp surgical stainless steel (tru-sharp steel) which offers an unrivalled level of sharpness, edge retention and rust-fending properties.
