Case CA1300 American Workman Trapper Blue Synthetic CA13000

Part of the American Workman series comes this, the Case CA13000 Blue Trapper knife with synthetic handle and surgical stainless steel blades which are “as ground”. Nicely presented, clean and hard working, this is one series that embodies everything an American knife should be. Pattern number 6254SS.

This knife weighs in at 4oz so it is neither too light nor too heavy. It measures 4 1/8 inches in length, when the blade is in the closed position. It comes with two blades, a Clip blade and a Spey blade. Their “as ground” finish means they are not of a polished finish state. Some people prefer this finish so they can then finish it their own way or simply enjoy it in it's unfinished state.

The handle is a Blue synthetic handle that resembles a jigged bone design, but without actually using bone. Many people prefer this as an option, and is impervious to the outside elements so will not dry, crack or warp. The handle also has a polished Nickel Silver inlay shield set into it.
