This is the Case Standard Knives Company CA10505 Mini Copperlock knife, pattern number 61749LSS. It's a lockback knife that performs exceedingly well, while also paying a special and proud tribute to Dean & Elliot Case.

Dean and Elliot set up the Standard Knife Company in 1901, and sold their knives in Little Valley, New York up until the death of Elliot in 1903, so sadly the company was never really ever able to grow into the monster brand that the Case family brand has become.

Paying tribute, this knife is tang stamped at the blade pivot with the Standard knife name and also has the Standard knife company inlay shield set into the handle. The handle material is jigged Brown bone, which is then fixed to the frame using Brass pins and rivets, and finished off with twin polished Nickel Silver bolsters, one at either end.

The blade is a stainless steel Clip blade which employs a lockback mechanism to keep it securely locked in place during use, meaning you can apply as much force as you like without fear of accidental closure. The long groove cut in makes life easier when opening and closing.
