Back in 1901, two Case brothers (Dean and Elliot) set up the Standard Knife Company, and operated out of Little Valley, New York.

The company never saw it's long term potential as Elliot passed away in 1903, marking the end to the brand, which has since gone on to be registered to a number of different companies in the years since.

This Case knife proudly pays tribute, having the STANDARD shield set into it, and also having the tang stamp “X-X-X Standard Knife Co. X-X”.
