Case CA10123 Hunter Green Trapper Tru-Sharp 4 1-8

Part of the gorgeous hunter Green series, this Case CA10123 Trapper knife with Silver script style shield and delightful Green handle will make an excellent Trapper knife that looks as good as it works.

The knife is built to Case's exacting specifications which they have refined and improved over the years, starting way back as far as 1889 when they first set up in business in New York, so you can confidently expect this to be a knife that is well made, tough and reliable as anything.

The blades are the usual Clip and Spey blades, made using Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel. They offer an edge that is incredibly endearing and encourages you to love it very quickly. It really is as good as it is going to get, exceeding your expectations time and time again. Both blades also feature fingernail grooves which are good traction points when you are opening and closing the knife. They are also tang stamped with the long tail “C” Case XX stamp for authenticity.

The handle is made using bone taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle. Normally the shin area is used because it is very robust and will last a very long time. The bone is cut into slabs and then peach seed jigged during the production process. Then the rich Green color is added before it is fitted to the frame using Brass pins.

The Case script style Silver inlay shield (Case XX) is fitted and then polished Nickel Silver bolsters complete the overall appearance. If you are looking for a thing of beauty then this 4 1/8 (closed) trapper knife will make a huge impact on you. Weighs 4oz.
