Case 05644 Item Description:The Case knife company have been surprising and pleasing their customers for more than 100 years with their wide range of knives. Here is the Case 5644. It's a medium Stockman knife that has a plain colored bone handle that has been lightly flamed to get the amber coloration you can see. Each individual handle is going to look slightly different in color, especially when the handle is machine jigged enabling a more rustic appearance to shine through.
Often called barnboard due to the rustic jigging pattern, it all refers to this wonderful and popular design. The particular pattern number for this knife is 6344SS. It measures 3.25 inches overall in length and weighs a tiny 1.7oz. Certainly light in weight, easy to use and poses no weight induced fatigue whatsoever.
The bone handle is enclosed by two delightfully polished Nickel Silver bolsters that exude luxury. Only the Case company shield is able to cause a distraction from the luxurious handle.
The blades are, typically of Case, just superb. They have been crafted using tru-sharp surgical stainless steel. You get a Clip blade, Sheepfoot blade and a Pen blade. Their sharpness defies logic, and they stay sharp for long periods of time before they will need a re-sharpen. They are also able to fend off rust and corrosion. One amazing knife.
