Case CA15272 Item Description:If you are looking for the perfect back pocket knife then look no further. This knife is the Case CA15272 Backpocket knife with pattern number TB61546 SS. A really nice looking knife with deeply jigged Chestnut bone handles.
The handle is made using bone taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle. They typically take it from the shin section because it is notably denser and tougher. They cut the bone into slabs and keep the slabs at their Bradford, PA production facility until needed.
The handles for this knife are deeply jigged and then given the beautiful rich Chestnut color. You won't be able to forget this knife in a hurry. The handles are fitted using Brass pins and then enclosed in between two polished Nickel Silver bolsters.
The blade is a Tru-Sharp surgically sharp stainless steel Clip blade. It is truly sharp and holds on to that sharp edge for long periods of time. The steel also does a great job at keeping rust and corrosion at bay.
When the knife is in the closed position the overall length is 4 5/8 inches. The blade measures 3 ½ inches and the overall weight is 3.6oz. Nice and not too heavy so regular use is possible without getting unduly tired or fatigued. Place your order – it comes with a manufacturers lifetime warranty.
