Here is the Case 9561 Copperlock knife with Second cut stag handle. Copperlock knives were designed by Tom Hart in 1997 as a special way to lock the blades in place securely during use.

This mini copperlock 9561 knife (pattern number 51749L SS) is a great looking knife. The main clip blade locks, and is made from Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel, with second cut stag written onto it. There is a handy groove cut into it to aid with grip during opening of the blade.

The handle has been hand crafted from a unique piece of stag material which has been taken from the inside of stag antlers – i.e. the piece presented once the outer bark like material has been removed. In other words, the second cut.

It is then fine detailed until perfect.

Nickel Silver bolsters, polished pins, and the Diamond shaped Case logo are the final finishing touches to this extraordinarily unique piece of work.
