Case 9242 Item Description:This is the W.R. Case & Sons 9242 (I2005 SS) Mammoth Ivory Barlow knife.
It is a simply stunning knife with a very rare piece of history attached to it – quite literally! The handle material is genuine perfectly preserved mammoth Ivory found in the frozen tundra of northern Siberia and Alaska, and is more than 10,000 years old.
It measures 3 7/8” in length and really is a knife to do all the talking!
You get two blades (a Spear and a Pen blade), each of which is crafted from Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel and offers amazing levels of sharpness.
The handle has a unique feel, unique appearance and is delightfully held in by two polished and detailed Nickel Silver bolsters, plus polished pins.
