Case 96357 Item Description:This is the Case C. Platt's 6357 small congress knife. It is a delightful handy knife made from the finest materials Case create.
The W.R.Case & Sons company began in 1889, after developing the skills and learning the knowledge to create some of the finest edges in knife making history, selling them from the back of a wagon.
As news spread the company expanded, in 1905 they moved to Bradford in 1905 and later went on to supply tens of thousands of U.S. Troops in world war I.
This fitting tribute knife features 4 blades, a Spear, Coping, Sheepfoot and Pen blades. Each blade has been crafted and designed to last, from Tru-Sharp surgical steel, with an etching of C. Platts & Sons.
They are set into the 3 1/8” handle which has a Walnut bone grip section and stainless steel bolsters.
Decorated with polished pins and the original propeller shield, this is a fine knife with tons of heritage about it.
