Case 12451 Item Description:Looking at this superb knife, you can immediately see the beauty of the handle. This knife is the Case XX Olive Green bone handled 12451 Trapper knife with pinched bolsters that also feature a strikeline etching across them.
Case knives have, for many years impressed many knife enthusiasts old and new. Detailed bolsters are not as often used these days, so it is a nice refreshing change to enjoy these timeless designs once again.
The handles are Olive Green colored, dyed into a peach seed jigged cattle bone handle during the production process, and then pinned to the frame with Brass pins / rivets and then finally being given the Case oval inlay shield to complete the look. There are some designs that never lose their appeal, and this is one of them. Forever a favorite.
The two blades (Clip and Spey) are made from tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, so they are razor sharp and are able to retain that sharp edge for long periods of time. They also fend off rust and corrosion.
