It is a steel made using techniques from years ago where master forger's work the steel in many layers to create something unique. This is a raindrop pattern Damascus steel.

This tiny trapper has two blades, a clip blade and a spade blade, and they both have fingernail grooves in them to allow for rapid pulling out and closing.

The handle uses genuine Sambar stag antler material, with each handle being slightly unique all due to the fact that every piece of stag will be individual. The handle also has the case shield upon it, three polished pens and to highly polished nickel silver bolsters.
