Case 5875 Green Bone Corn Cob John Deer Mini Trapper

Here is a collectible Case knife. It is the Case 5875 (sometimes referred to as CA5875 or CA-5875) John Deere Green bone handled Corn Cob mini trapper knife. There aren't many companies around the world that hold such a high level of respect as there is with John Deere. This mini Trapper knife with it's bone handle makes it a firm favorite among many families.

Measuring just 3.5 inches in length (when the blades are closed), this knife is easily portable. It also weighs a tiny 2.7oz which means you could actually use it all day if you wanted to and not get overly tired. Either way it's not too heavy.

The handle is clad with Brazilian Zebu cattle bone, known for its density. It is then soaked in a Green dye to give the coloring and jigged during the production process. The pattern number for this design is 6207 SS. It also has a John Deere shield inlaid into the side of the handle, as well as polished Nickel Silver bolsters, one at either end of the handle.

Then we have two distinctive mirror polished blades. A Clip blade and a Spey blade. They are made using Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel which ensures you get a well performing razor sharp edge. They also have fingernail grooves cut into them to help with the pulling out of each blade.
