Case 5871 6154LSS John Deere Yellow Trapperlock

Now here is something special, something stunning and something to love, cherish and own. It is the Case 5871 John Deere Trapperlock knife in a really vibrant Yellow colored bone handle. It can be opened and closed with a single hand, so if your other hand is otherwise preoccupied then this knife will make a lot of sense to use.

It measures 4 1/8 inches in length, so would suit a deep pocket or a sheath. It features a long Clip blade that is incredibly sharp (having been made from Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel) and has a thumb stud located on the upper section the the blade. Simply push the thumb stud with your thumb to open it until it locks. Release the lock on the handle and pull back on the thumb stud to retract it back into the handle.

Looking at the handle, its hard not to be impressed with it. It sports the John Deere shield on the handle, as well as a Yellow bone handle. The bone is soaked in yellow dye to get the coloring. It is fixed to the frame using Brass pins and nails, and then two Nickel Silver polished blades complete the overall outward appearance of this knife.
