Case 5646 Item Description:You are looking at the Case 5646 burnt White bone handled slimline trapper knife. Many people have grown a fond liking for this particular coloring so this set of knives was created to continue the trend.
They achieve this rustic jigged and unique look by applying a naked flame directly to the smooth natural bone. Each and every handle will be slightly different, and unique, making every one special. The bone is taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle because the bone is very dense and reliably strong.
The bone is then fixed on to the frame of the knife with polished pins and nails, given the Case shield and then polished Nickel Silver bolsters are fitted to either end, completing the overall look.
The blade is a long Clip blade, slimline yet menacing. It is very sharp, in fact razor sharp, all due in fact to the fact it's been from some of the best steel possible – tru-sharp surgical stainless steel.
The pattern number for this great knife is 61048 SS. The overall length of this knife, when closed, is 4 1/8”. The weight is 2.4oz – just about perfect we think!
