Case 5643 Burnt White Lockback 61225LSS Bone Handle

This is one of Case's legendary lockback knives, only this time, this model, the 5643 features a fantastic smooth natural bone handle that is affectionately known as either Burnt White or Burnt barnboard.

This collection of Barnboard handle colored knives was made because people had expressed keen interest in it when it came to previous knives. Case re-developed the handle pattern and brought out this new range of knives that people are clamouring over to obtain.

It is, in essence a regular lockback folding knife, but with the special bone handle it makes it even more special than it already is. The bone has been touched by flame to give a burnished glow with occasional Yellow and Green highlights.

The handle has the Case company shield upon it, polished pins and nails secure it to the frame, and two polished Nickel Silver bolsters secure the ends, along with the lock release lever.

The blade is a drop-point blade, made from tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, and even has a fingernail groove to help with the pulling out of the blade. Overall this knife measures a coll 3 inches in length, when the blades are closed. The weight is 1.9oz and the pattern number is 61225LSS.
