Case 5641 Item Description:Part of the range of burnt Barnboard knives (or Burnt White) knives from the Case cutlery and knife company comes this Case small Texas Toothpick knife with the unique handle coloring that you see before you.
Few people understand how seriously good Case knives are. They so highly respected they have even gone in to space on missions with the astronauts.
The handle is made from a smooth bone taken from the shin of Brazilian Zebu cattle. This particular grade of bone is known for its density and strength, and hence reliability as a good handle material. Case pick the best and have them ready in flat slabs before they are ready to be used.
During the production process they machine jig the handles and then move the bone over an open flame to obtain this burnt look that so many people have been asking for. The good news is that each and every knife handle is ultimately unique.
A Case company shield is added to the handle, as is Brass polished pins and nails to secure it to the frame. Then two mirror polished Nickel Silver bolsters are added to the ends to create a fantastic looking knife.
The extra long slimline Clip blade is very strong. Having been made from tru-sharp steel it hold and offers a razor sharp edge like no other.
This knife has the pattern number 610096SS. It's length is 3 inches and its weight is a mere 1oz. You could quite easily use it all day long.
