This is the Case CA6383 gunstock knife from the Case Cutlery company. As a commemorative piece, yet fully functional, this knife remembers its heritage.

In 1864, Charles Platt emigrated from Sheffield in the UK, and came to America and used his skills to bring this industry alive through the C Platts Son's Cutlery Company – one of the original Case family brands. This knife pays homeage to him.
