Case 13014 Jigged Gray Bone Muskrat 3 7-8 Inches

For all Case fans, here is a really nice version of their Muskrat knife – this is the Gray bone Muskrat, model 13014. Every year they do something different to surprise us, and what a surprise!

It is refreshing to see something different than the regular Brown handles that are common on many knives. The handle material is bone that has been taken from the shin area of the Brazilian Zebu cattle. This bone is noted for being incredibly dense and strong and is therefore perfect for knife handles.

The bone is jigged at the workshop and then given this Gray coating before having the polished oval Case inlay shield set into it, pinned to the frame with Brass pins and rivets, and then finally being buttered up to two succulent looking polished Nickel Silver bolsters. Doesn't it make your mouth water?

There are two Clip blades for this knife. They are both made using tru-sharp surgical stainless steel and are “as ground” in their appearance, which essentially means they are left in their raw state, having had a grind go over them. There is no mirror polish finish to them.

This Case Gray bone 13014 (pattern: Muskrat SS) brings harmony and indulgence to the world of knives. It measures 3 7/8 inches in length and so is perfect for every day pocket carrying. Not to be missed!
