Case CA10502 Item Description:This is the Case CA10502 pocket Hunter knife, commemorating the Standard knife company efforts from 1901 through to 1903, one of Case's earliest efforts to come from the Case family name. With jigged Brown handle, it's a real classic in a modern world.
The pattern number for this design is TH62165SS and mixes perfectly the much loved natural jigged bone, Brown coloring and polished Nickel Silver. This mix is a firm favorite among Case knife enthusiasts.
The stainless steel blades comprise a Skinner blade and a Clip blade, both honed to a razor sharp edge, and offering grooves which help open the blades out.
The jigged Brown bone handle is taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle, usually the shin section as it is this section which is most dense and makes a superb long lasting material. The inlay shield is for the Standard Knife Company, paying tribute to it's pioneers, Dean & Elliot Case who started it in Little Valley, New York, ending after just 2 years when Elliot died in 1903.
The knife offers the best mix of heritage, commemoration and modern day workmanship honed over time to perfection. It's polished Nickel Silver bolsters enhance the outer appearance. This Case CA10502 pocket Hunter Standard knife company knife measures 2 ¾ inches when closed so will happily fit any pocket with ease.
