Buck 730KX Item Description:This is the X-Tract Multi-tool from Buck, model number 730BKX. Quite a talented, and very useful tool!
It's a combination design by Peter Whittaker, a mountaineer, and Buck, and is in Black.
This tool features some amazing tools, all made from tough Steel, and are able to each be opened by one hand.
You get a screwdriver which benefits from being unique, and operates via a sliding mechanism and a locking button.
A 420HC grade stainless steel blade (3 inches long), fashioned into a drop-point style to allow for precision work, and is partially serrated to give you a good range of uses over and above simple slicing work.
Needle nose pliers, which are spring loaded, and surprisingly very tough indeed.
You also get a set of wire cutters which can cut up to 10 AWG wire, which is thick.
Flat head, and phillips #2 screwdrivers. A bottle/can opener is also included for those after-work activities.
Overall this nimble tool weighs just 5.6oz, and measures in at 4.25 inches when closed – big enough? Just about perfect!
