Buck 406EKSLE item description:How The Wilde Wilde West Was Won. Using legend as a guide, Bucks' own custome Knife maker,
Wilde Bill Cody, created a knife that was surely worthy to wear the name . With Elk Antler for the
handle inlaid with a hand crafted cow skull, this was soon recognized as a WBC coveted design.
The blade, 4 7/8" in length was a mirror polished upswept skinner.
An overall length of 10 1/8", the blade is separated from the handle by a tri-colored guard, derived by placing copper, brass and nickel silver side by side soon to become recognized itself for its intricate placement in the design.
Weighing 12.7oz, this blade was even to receive it's own original sheath, made from distressed brown leather. Personalizing the knife even further, led to the pattern set on the perimeter and created by filing each point. Still made to be ergonimically true, finger grooves and ridges still adorn the handle on what can only be described as old meets new .
