They perform every aspect of knife making at their facility from building their own blanking dies through to heat treating the steel, applying the ground edges and even the full and final assembly. This means that every aspect of their build can be kept under close scrutiny, resulting in a better finished knife.
This 105 lockback shown is a handy knife that can be carried in your pocket all day, every day if you wish. It measures 3 ¾ inches when in the closed position. The handle is a brushed stainless steel design that is gently curved for comfort and has a rear reveal that allows you to access the lockback release.
Squeeze the lockback and the blade will disengage from it's locked position and you can close it away ready for your next mission. The blade itself is stainless steel in a Clip point design so it's quite versatile in it's uses. There is even a fingernail nick cut into it. You can pinch grip the groove when opening the blade to afford a better grip.
This Bear & Son BC105 offers good solid affordability with nice tight tolerances thanks to their in-house production techniques that are all performed at one location.
