This medium sized hunter knife measures 6 ¾ inches overall and the blade section measures 2 5/8 inches. The blade is almost as large as the handle but not quite. This means you can still get a good grip, and make bigger slices and cuts. For shorter more precision-based cuts you may want to look at the smaller hunter knife.

The handle is made using wood that has been impregnated with laminated plastic resin. This gives a longer lasting handle that retains it's nice handsome colors and helps prevent the ingress of moisture and chemicals. The design features baand of colors and two different colored wood sections to help segment the handle and bolster sections which exist on regular knives.

The blade is made using file steel. The steel actually extends right up inside the handle, and is known as full tang construction. Strength is assured because there are no weak points or joints. Grab the custom hand-made knife and your fingers will fall in the right place naturally.
