Here you are looking at the Anza Hunter large knife, model number PK4. An outstanding design from custom hand-made knife makers Anza Knives. Measuring over 7 inches in length, the blade and handle are almost equal sized so you can make big determined cuts and slices. Great for bigger tasks.

The knife is made from a single piece of file steel. This is known as full tang construction in the knife industry. This means that there are no joints, pivots or weak points built into the design so strength remains it's biggest property. The steel forms the blade and also extends right up inside the entire length of the handle for strength.

The blade measures 3 1/8 inches and has a very sharp slicing edge that cuts tirelessly time and time again. The cutting edge terminates at a guard built into the design which also serves as a finger choil where your fingers will naturally fall as you grip the knife.

The handle is wood that is fitted to the steel. It is real wood that is laminated plastic resin impregnated so that it's natural beauty and the Anza custom design can remain as good as the day you bought it.

The steel used has to undergo a rigorous process that involves annealing, cold grinding and then after al else is done and all refinements are made, it gets a final polish. The colors of the handle may vary fro the image shown due to the natural materials being used but please do not let that detract from what you are getting here.
