Anza Field Hunter Medium 6 3-4 Inch Laminate Wood F2

Here is the wickedly exciting Anza medium sized Field Hunter knife, model number F2 (AZ-F2). This is the larger brother to the F1, so would be more appropriately designed for medium sized hands or for those who find a smaller knife is just not quite big enough.

This custom hand-made knife measures 6 ¾ inches overall. Within this length you will find that the blade section measures 2 ¾ inches. This blade is incredibly sharp and offers very precise cuts that deliver time and time again, no matter what it is used on.

The talented craftsmen at Anza knives make these custom knives. They take a single piece of file steel and put it through a process of annealing, cold grinding and the polishing until you get the finished result shown here. Not only that, they use the whole piece of steel and ensure it extends right up through the entire handle, so it becomes a “full tang constructed” knife that delivers uniform strength with no weak points.

A thumb ramp is clearly shown on the upper section of the spine. This ramp is where you can place you thumb when you want to perform controlled and delicate work that needs a little extra focus. You will also be able to apply more pressure if needed without going wild with your cuts.

The handle is laminated plastic impregnated wood that is comfortable and gives a good level of grip. Due to the natural materials used, the handle colors can vary somewhat. A nice colored banding on the handle provides a good contrast to the overall design.
