The Al Mar Osprey AM1001C with Cocobolo wood handle is a timeless classic design they have been manufacturing and selling in droves from as far back as 1979! The 101C is a natural looking knife with the Cocobolo wood and makes for a nice refreshing change.

With an overall length of 3.95 inches this is a handy, yet compact folding pocket knife. It weighs just .5oz so you will hardly ever be able to tell you are carrying it. Using a unique front lock locking system, the Osprey blends together a stainless steel bolster with the wood to give you a visual delight that looks superb.

The reveal for the lock release mechanism is clearly seen. Simply depress to activate the lock release and then you can close the blade down when not in use or needed any more.

Open out the AUS-8 stainless steel blade to reveal it's full glory and you get a sense of just why people have fallen in love with the design year after year. The blade is 1.65 inches thick and is extremely sharp. The Al Mar logo is clearly shown on the side of the blade while the fingernail groove makes it easier to open the blade out.
