Here is the Al Mar Hawk Ultralight knife AM2B2. Setting out to prove that thin and light weight can also be strong, Al Mark knives created these Ultralight series that use the Al Mar front lock mechanism, polished Black Micarta scales and an intriguing clip that fits into the lanyard hole keeping the weight down to a minimum.

This is a plain edge model of their Hawk ultralight knife. It weighs an astonishingly light 1oz! And uses their front lock to keep it locked securely in place during use. Dual stainless steel thumb studs help you to open the AUS 8 blade. All you need to do is push on the studs with your thumb using a single hand and you are good to go once it has locked in position. The blade measures 2.75 inches and is .08 inches thick.

The handle is Black linen Micarta scales which is comfortable to hold and offers a nice reassuring grip. A lanyard hole at the rear allows you to pass your own lanyard through it and carry it round your neck or attached to your gear. With this knife you can also attach the ambidextrous pro-Clip to the lanyard hole for clip carrying left or right handed.

The Al Mar 1002UBK2 Hawk Ultralight is also available as a Falcon ultralight and an Eagle ultralight. This ultralight measures 6 inches overall when the blade is in the locked open position. 3 3/8" closed lockback. Satin finish AUS-8 stainless standard edge drop point blade with thumb stud. Black linen micarta handles with lanyard hole. Features the front lock system which allows the user to open and close with one hand. Weighs 1 oz.
