Al Mar Hawk Brushed Stainless Steel Leather Pouch AM1002SS

If you've known about Al Mar knives you'll know they manufacture some of the finest hand finished and hand sharpened knives around since 1979. This is the Al Mar AM1002SS Hawk knife with brushed stainless steel design.

The Hawk knife is one of Al Mar's classic designs, still going strong today. Claimed to be a perfectly sized “gentleman's knife” it's good for plenty of uses and won't let you down. If you want precision and a superb finish then look no further.

Slightly larger than their osprey knife, this Hawk features a brushed stainless steel handle. A lanyard hole exists at the rear of the handle so you can safely store it away when not in use. You could pass your own lanyard cord through and even hang it around your neck if you wanted to.

Brass liners house the front-lock locking mechanism, a design from Al-Mar which is much loved by many. Open out the stainless steel AUS-8 blade using the fingernail nick and it will lock securely into place during use. The blade is 2.5 inches in length and has a Rockwell Hardness rating of 57-59 Rc. The blade is also .08 inches thick.

With an overall length of 5.75 inches when open, the Al-Mar Hawk 1002SS knife weighing 1.5oz comes with it's own finely embossed leather slip pouch featuring the Al-Mar logo (also on the blade). 3 1/4" closed lockback. AUS-8 stainless blade. Brushed stainless handles with lanyard hole. Brown leather slip pouch. Weighs 1.5 oz.
