You are looking at the Al Mar AM3B4 Falcon Ultralight knife with part-serrated blade. This knife will offer the ability to cut and chop as well as slice. Hand finished edges are a trait of Al Mar knives so why not experience this for yourself.

The blade is a drop point bade made using AUS-8 grade stainless steel. This steel offers good edge retention and the ability to hold on to that edge over long periods of time without faltering. Al Mar have been making knives this good since 1979 and have developed quite a following. They hand finish and hand sharpen all their knives so each one is quite unique in it's own special way.

The blade also has a thumb stud on it that makes life easier. You simply press on the thumb stud to open it out and it locks into position using the “Al-Mar front lock” locking mechanism. Once engaged it will stay locked until you disengage it by pressing on the lever in the handle recess.

The handle is Black linen Micarta and features a rear lanyard hole that can be used to pass your own lanyard through for storage or carry options. There is also a pocket clip named the Pro-Clip from Al Mar which is a clip that can be mounted on either side of the lanyard hole so it can be carried on your left or right hand side depending in your particular preferences or preferred carry style.

Weighing 1.25oz this is a nice and refined knife that will bring you joy. The Al-Mar AM34B Falcon Ultralight is one of their lightest knives ever to be made, yet it remains incredibly tough. Something that you have to experience to believe for yourself.
