From Al-Mar knives comes this, the Al-Mar Eagle Ultralight Talon knife, model number 1005UBK2T. A knife that demonstrates how lightweight and thin can also mean high quality and sheer strength.

This particular Ultralight knife features AUS-8 grade stainless steel for the 4 inch Satin finished blade. The steel has a Rockwell hardness rating of Rc 57-59. The blade is .10 inches thick. Opening the blade out comes by way of the in-built thumb studs located on either side of the blade. It locks in place thanks to Al-Mar's in-built “Al-Mar Front-Lock” locking mechanism. Squeeze the lever in the handle to release the blade.

The handle is 5 inches in length and made with Black linen Micarta scales. Nice, reliable and secure in the hand. You will also notice there is a lanyard hole at the rear. You can pass your own lanyard through the hole and lash it anywhere you want, or even hang it around your neck when not in use.

There is also a two-way reversible pocket “Pro-Clip” included with the knife. It's unique design means it fits through the lanyard hole.
