Case 6579 Item Description:Here is the Case Kinfolks Green medium Texas Toothpick knife with collectible gift tin, model number 6579. Kinfolks incorporated was set up in Little Valley, new York on November 4th 1926 by three cousins, all from the Case family. This Texas Toothpick pays tribute to the three men and how it all came together to make one of the best knife company's in the world.
This jigged Texas Toothpick knife uses bone taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle due to its density and strength(normally taken from the shin area), and is died and jigged during the manufacturing process. Three Brass pins clip the handle to the frame, and a Kindfolks shield is held on to the same piece.
Polished Nickel Silver bolsters grip either end, completing the overall look of the knife. The length of this particular commemorative knife is 4.25 inches (when the blades are tucked away inside the handle) meaning it is perfect for a pouch, sheath or pocket.
Brass liners sit inside the handle and house the incredibly sharp long Clip blade. The blade has been crafted from Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, so it is razor sharp and holds that edge for long periods of time. A handy fingernail nick allows you to pull the blade out.
This knife will delight anyone who owns it. It comes in this wonderful metal decorated gift tin bearing the Case logo and the Kinfolks logo. The pattern number is 610094 SS.
