Case 5898 Item Description:The W.R.Case company has evolved into a modern day custom knife maker who are able to create truly impeccable knives, to very high specifications, such as this 5898 Case knife. It is a John Deere large sized Stockman knife and celebrates the great company who have achieved great things worldwide.
With headquarters in Moline, Illinois that very nearly never got completed due to the death of the architect who designed the building, it's a wonder John Deere survived, but prosper they did! Their courage and determination to succeed shone through, and so it is with this collection of knives that their success is given fitting tribute.
The knife features the 1876 trademark John Deere logo and colorings, along with Deere tyre tracks down the sides of the Green colored bone handle. The ends of the handle feature mirror polished Nickel Silver bolsters.
Within the handle sit three blades, all made from tru-sharp surgical stainless steel. There is a Clip blade, a Sheepfoot blade and a Spey blade. They deliver a razor sharp cutting experience like no other, so be prepared for that.
This fantastic knife measures 4.25 inches in length (when the blades are closed), and weighs 4.1oz.
