From the 5.11 Tactical knife company comes this FTL51027 Scout Folder knife. This is suited to slightly larger hands unlike it's younger brother the Alpha Scout. This one is as tough as you are ever going to get and gives you the smile you expect, and a knowing glance upon your face the first moment it is held in your hand.

The Scout has an all over Black finish to it. This helps maintain a sense of Tactical, as in the company's name! Tactical by name, tactical by nature. We like this.

There is an AUS-8 stainless steel 3 5/8 inch blade with a very sharp tip and smooth sharp cutting edge. A thumb hole cut into the blade helps you open it out with just one hand -a very handy feature if your other hand is preoccupied with other tasks such as holding an item in place while you cut it.

A raised and notched thumb ramp gives you traction during use and allows you to press harder and gain greater control during use. When you are done you can simply squeeze the linerlock release mechanism within the handle and fold the blade away safely for your next mission.

The handle is Black G-10 that provides plenty of grip. It also has finger choils to help aid with grip and keep your hand planted in the best position. A rear lanyard hole gives you opportunities for a lanyard to be passed through and letting you warp or store it wherever you want when not in use.
