If you are looking for a simple, yet strong knife that is hard working for all duties, then the 5.11 Tactical Alpha Scout FTL51053 is certainly worth a second look.

This knife certainly lives up to it's tactical name as it is dressed from head to toe in Black. At 4 inches in length (when closed) it can also stealthily fit into most pockets so it is shaping up to be a rather great knife.

It's tough tipped Tanto blade measures 3 inches in length. Made using AUS-8 grade stainless steel, it sports a razor sharp edge, Black oxide coating and thumb hole for easy one hand opening. It also locks strongly in place thanks to an in-built liner lock mechanism.

The handle is Black G-10 which provides great grip levels as well as a great comfort level. There is also a lanyard hole built into the handle so it can be strapped anywhere you wish, making it truly versatile.

Where the handle meets the blade, there are sections of jimping which aid grip by providing a suitable thumb press point during use.
