Cold Steel 53BS Item Description:Cold steel have done it again. Produced a great knife. This is the 53BS knife, often referred to as “The Bowie Spike”. It's all part of a collection of knives, each one called “The Spike” with different variants being produced.
This one is Bowie styled, dagger like in shape. Pared down to it's bare essentials, it sports a thick tapered blade just over 4 inches in length, made from 420 grade stainless steel which is sub zero quenched and precision ground to give it the strength qualities it exhibits so eagerly.
Formed from a single solid piece of steel the knife becomes handle, and the handle is a smooth section with a cord wrapped around it for comfort, as well as a lanyard hole for storage.
The whole knife measures in at 8 inches, and to keep all of this power under wraps requires a super sturdy sheath – enter the included Secure-Ex sheath.
This knife weighs 2.7oz and is just a delight to own for all Bowie knife lovers.
