The handle is a vivid red colored peachseed jigged bone. The bone is typically taken from the shin section of Brazilian zebu cattle because here it is incredibly dense and tough, and ultimately a nice reliable handle material.
The handle is accented by two gorgeous polished Nickel Silver end bolsters and a polished Nickel Silver inlay shield set into it. These always do a fabulous job of enhancing their knives.
The two blades comprise a Clip and Spey shaped blades. They are made using Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel for that razor sharp edge you can depend on.
Proudly made in the USA at their Bradford, PA production facility, this Case CA646 Red bone handled Trapper (pattern number 6254 SS) is a stunning example of a great knife. Case have been at this since 1889 and their skills shine through. 6254SS pattern. 4 1/8" closed. Stainless clip and spey blades. Red jigged bone handles with nickel silver bolsters and script style inlay shield.
