The handle is bone taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle. Often naturally shed antlers or from the shin section of the animal, notably because these sections are very dense and offer superb qualities perfect for a hard wearing handle. The bone handle is fitted to the frame using pins and given a Case script style oval inlay shield as well as polished Nickel Silver bolsters at either end.
The Case XX stamped blades are Chrome Vanadium, in the form of a Clip blade and a Pen blade. The blend of alloyed steel makes it easy to bring back a sharp edge whenever required.
