Case 5899 item description:For all fans of John Deere, check out this incredible exciting Case 5899 knife. It is a medium sized Stockman knife dressed to impress in the full John Deere uniform and color scheme. For many years John Deere have been at the forefront of their industries and Case have been at the forefront of knife making (for more than 100 years!).
This John Deere knife (pattern number 63032SS) is going to leave you with one huge grin. The handle features the coloring and logo of the John Deere brand, as well as the John Deere name and tyre tracks banding around either end of the handle. There is obviously a lot of thought that has gone into making this knife.
The handle is made from bone, typically cattle bone taken from the Brazilian Zebu cattle, simply because it offers a reliable and dense bone that is strong and easily worked. They soak the bones in the colors first, and then apply any final detailing later. The handle is held on with pins, and two polished Nickel Silver bolsters add the wow factor to the knife.
You get three blades with the knife – a Clip blade, a sheepfoot blade and a pen blade. Each of these has been made using tru-sharp surgical stainless steel, to the highest of specification. A razor sharp edge is thankfully assured.
This 2000 trademark knife is superb and pays real tribute to the great names of this modern world. This knife measures 3 5/8 inches overall and weighs just 2.5oz.
