Case 5628 item description:Small and sumptuous, perfectly formed. That is the Case 5628 small Texas toothpick knife. It's made to impress, made to remind you about everything that is good about the USA. It features an Autmn barnboard coloring and jigging pattern that looks delightful, and reminds you of the good old days of time gone past. This knife is full of character and full of joy.
The handle is made from bone. A bone taken from the shin section of Brazilian Zebu cattle and used because of it's density and strength characteristics. The bone is typically stored in flat slabs at the case factory until it is ready for use. Then they soak it in Dye for the coloring at the same time as jigging the bone with a machine, during the production process. This is what gives it an authentic and classic barn door look.
A classic designed Case company shield is affixed to the side of the handle, and the bone is fastened to the frame with pins and nails. Then you can see two totally stunning Nickel Silver polished bolsters adorning the ends in the classic Texas toothpick style.
With this knife you get two blades – a Clip blade and a long Pen blade. Made from tru-sharp surgical stainless steel they offer the perfect mix of luxury, strength and a razor sharp edge.
Proudly made in the USA, this knife measures 3 inches in length, when the blades are closed. It weighs a tiny 1.1oz so can be worked all day, and it's pattern number is 620096SS.
