Case 5610 item description:Here is the Case 5610 Black Barnboard Baby Doc knife, pattern number 6282SP. These case knives are primed ready to take on any tough tasks you care to throw at them, so don't be afraid to get stuck in and get them working for you.
Case have developed many ranges of barnboard styled knives in a number of colors to suit everyone's unique personality. This is one of the things that Case have become renowned for - pleasing customers time and time again and with this knife there is no exception.
Being a baby Doc knife there is a Spear blade and a Spatula tool. Both of these have been made using tru-sharp surgical stainless steel. This means you get a blade that is razor sharp, and retains that sharp edge far longer than regular blades. The steel also does a good job at fending off rust and corrosion so you can enjoy the benefits of it for longer. When you've finished with the tools, simply close the blades safely inside the handle ready for your next mission.
The handle is a beautifully made Brazilian Zebu cattle bone handle. The bone is colored and machine jigged during the production process, and looks just like old barnboard wood that has been salvaged from barns and restoration projects. Some people are so fanatical about this design that they just can not get enough of it.
The bone is then fixed to the frame with a pin and nails, and then the Case Traditions shield is inlaid into it. Finally, polished Bolsters finish off either end. Made from Nickel Silver they look stunning and do a great job of complementing knife handles. This Case Baby Doc measures just under 3 inches in length and has the pattern number 6282SPSS.
