Case have an uncanny habit of producing the kind of stuff that other knife manufacturers tend to follow. They have been leaders since they started in upstate New York in 1889 and to this day they have refined their skills and production processes to such a degree that even presidents and NASA have purchased and used Case knives.
This particular model weighs a truly lightweight 0.8oz so you could use it happily all day without tiring your hands. The handle is Delrin, which is a strong synthetic material that is then jigged during the production process. A Case oval inlay shield is fitted and then the handle is fitted to the frame.
Polished Nickel Silver bolsters sit either end, transforming the outside into a thing of beauty. This is the good thing about Case knives – they are so good looking!
