What is a Wharncliff knife? One of ths strongest designs ever made – found often in Whittler knives, this is a design with a high arched, often curved upper to it which lends it incredible strength so much that you can lean on it, and use it as as “wood splitter”!
Boker go an incredibly long way when designing knives, and their Calibre is very high indeed – a truly magnificent piece.
AUS-8 grade Stainless Steel is used, which further bolsters it's strength and characteristics, and allows the 1 7/8th inch blade to fold away snugly when not in use, via the ambidextrous thumb stud.
At just 3.2oz this blade is perfect for being your companion in any terrain, yet opens up to a useful 4.5 inches when needed.
