A knife that measures 5 inches when it is in the closed position that comes with a nice Silver vein die cast metal handle that looks superb and wonderfully complements the overall design.
Sometimes referred to as a Balisong or fan knife you get two handles which counter rotate around the pivot tang and lock together in both the open and closed positions. There is a latch on the end of one handle that locks the two together, locking the blade at the same time.
The handles are a slotted design that have a Silver vein powder coating to their die cast metal design. The slotting helps keep the weight down, improve appearance and drain away excess fluids such as sweat, blood or river water.
The blade is a Clip point 4 inch blade made using Damascus steel that has a guard built into the design to help prevent your hands from slipping down onto the blade during use.
The Bear & Son BC114D measures 9 inches total open length and every single aspect of it is proudly made in the USA at their Jacksonville, AL factory where family based knife making produces great affordable knives. 5" closed.
