The blade is an unsharpened blade that is suitable for practising your skills with, without causing too much damage along the way. Made form stainless steel, it has a blunt tip and weight saving hole cut-outs.
The 114TR uses a catch on the end of one of the handles. Simply unhinge it and swing the arms out to meet one another and lock them together by fastening the catch around both arms.
Whatever your reasons, this Bear & Son folding Butterfly trainer knife makes a lot of sense.
