Ka-Bar Maserin Olive Wood Lockback Knife KM258

You are looking at the Ka-Bar KM258. A Ka-Bar exclusive folding knife made in Italy by Maserin. This knife is now limited and hard to find as production of it ended in 2006, so if you find its the one for you, get it while you can, as the more time elapses, the harder it becomes to get a hold of one.

It features a 440A grade stainless steel blade that has a hardness rating of 55-57. It is then flat ground and given a 15 degree angle on the razor sharp cutting edge.

A small finger nick in the upper edge of the blade aids opening and a small notched thumb ramp along the top of the spine gives a suitable platform to find more grip during use.

The handle is made from a gorgeous smooth Olive wood and locks the blade in to position through a lockback mechanism.

Just because it has an old world appearance does not mean it has got old world performance. 8 1/8 inches overall with a 3.5 inch blade and 4 5/8 inch handle.
