Ka-Bar 5551 Tactical Folder AUS8A Steel Black

Another fantastic creation from the Ka-Bar range is the 5551. A sturdy, tactical looking all purpose folding knife with a stainless steel handle. It also features a 2 3/4” drop point blade which is made of AUS8A stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-59.

The blade which matches the color of the handle has a black finish with the FIN logo and a notched thumb which rest that allows you to keep a more firmer and secure grip on the knife, stopping any unnecessary slip ups.

The oval hole is perfect for one handed opening of the knife, which is perfect if you are ever in a situation where your other hand is pre occupied.

The handle has indexing divots and a frame lock which allows the blade to stay locked in the open position even when gripped in a fist.

The lanyard hole allows the knife to be either attached to you or hung up when not in use.

This knife definitely has a dark and mysterious look to it, but don't be afraid to put it to the test.
